Is it an external one...usually red is power. black is earth. green is the (-) on the coil and white is dash lights usually.

have you actually pulled apart the ke55 dash and seen how all that is setup? it's not as easy as you'd think. and a ke70 dash is totally different. you'd be better to get an aftermarket tacho and mount it where the clock is or on the steering column or something

that's fook's tacho dash isn't it? he made it out of a ta22 tacho
you can get tachometers as small as the clock, i have a couple myself, and you can get decently sized non-rice aftermarket ones as well
"aftermarket" doesn't mean "fooly sick bro 12 inch 15000rpm monster tacho with 5 different colored lights and action replay and 700W halogen shiftlight spf60+ sunscreen required", in fact i'd hope it never would mean that unless you're in something that NEEDS it such as a professional racecar (because a top fueller replay tach hitting 10500 is cool!)

yeah spoke to fook and got all the details, well all that he could remember anyway, its out of a ta22 i think, the ra23/28 tachos are a little bit smaller and u can see the numbers easier thru the ke55 cluster cover so yea gona give it a go when i pick up the tacho if i can find one at the wreckers
