First motorkhana experience

With all the talk on here of late about loss of licenses, car crashes and street racing etc, I thought I'd try and change the tone a bit..
This Sunday I'm going to be competing in my first ever motorkhana event on the skidpan at Eastern Creek. With the Corolla leaking grease from a few spots it shouldn't be, I've managed to score the use of my mates Gemini rally car for the day, while he's going to be running in his road car (MX5).
Not having ever driven a RWD hard before is going to make it VERY interesting, especially in the afternoon when they hose down the course!
I'll definitely be trying to get heaps of photos of the day, and will post them up here next week some time.. Now, bring on the weekend!!!

It's being run by North Shore Sporting Car Club. It requires a Level 2NS or higher Cams licence amd is costing $50 for a whole day of fun.

yeh, those club days out at Eastern Creek on the skidpan sure do look like fun, me and my cousin were driving past the creek on sunday after the dyno day and we saw some rexies go in there so we went in to have a look and there was a whole heap of silvia's and skylines, and also the WRX Impreze Club NSW were out there going psycho too, in the wet the rexies had it all over the other cars lol.
ill be out there for sure once the conversion is finished on the Sprinter.

That was awesome fun!!!
Scored 9th outright for the day and I'm definitely going back in my own car next time once I get a few bugs fixed up.
Karl - You would've had a ball in pimpboy
Ben - Did you end up getting your spark problems sorted out??
