The whole conversion was done by me, so that sort off kept the costs down and I tried to pick up parts on the cheap. The whole reason I started the conversion was because I picked up the halfcut really cheap.

You stole my car Smile
This is exactly what I am hoping to do, but with an AE71. I thought that the corolla with those headlights was an AE71. Whats the difference between yours (stock) and this? Did you run into any major probs whilst building this?

Re: Chris's KE70 [PICS] Fri, 23 July 2004 05:14 Go to previous messageGo to next message
Theres not a lot difference between hte KE70 and AE71, its just that I couldnt find any white AE71's so I went with the KE70. I think it will be ten times easier witht the AE71 because there is no stuffing around with pedal boxs and clutchs. Theres always problems when doing a conversion, but can always be overcome. Smile
And trust me the end result is worth it. Cool

Sweeeeet! Smile

Have you broken the Bog-Warmer diff yet?

Is the car resprayed? Looks tidy.

Don't suppose you have the part number for the starion master cylinder do you? Was it a bolt up job to the booster?

Cheers
Phil

Nah mate, dont have the part number. It was a direct bolt up to the original booster. As yet havent broken the diif or the gearbox yet. Evil or Very Mad
From what I was told from previous owner, has not had a respray but 'has had some work'.
Thanks for the praise. Very Happy

On the right hand side in front of the wheel arch. you can see the fuel lines going from the pump to the surge tank.
