Driving to wisemans ferry

hey sydney ppl.
i feel like taking a drive to wisemans ferry coz i hear is a nice drive. I'm in ryde which is the best way.by old windeor rd turn at mcgraths hill and follow that or go pennant hills rd, new line road and follow that?

I always head up to Hornsby, through Galston Gorge, out through Dural and down to Wisemans...
It's even more enjoyable having fun at 3am on the dirt roads, coming over a crest to find a truck in the middle of the road... Lucky there was some run off space...
