u might as well buy stock aus spec sprinter, becasue u wont get it any cheeper without an engine, i.e. look on parts for sale, people give away 4A-C engines. So buying one without wont save u much if anything and im sure there alot less common than sprinters for sale with engines. Hope u find an 86 and put a good engine in it.

ur best off geting one with an engine in it coz if ur going to do a conversion u'll need some parts from the 4a-c

Given mine has no driveline, I'd say your best bet would be in a sea container, which will be over a grand easily.
