Who would win? S13 or 300ZX

I have two guys at school, one of them owns a Sliva and the other one owns a 300ZX.
The guy with the S13 talks alot of sh*t about other people cars and how he can 'smash them by carlengths'. he brags constantly and never shuts up.
The guy with the 300ZX is abit cocky, but doesn't say much.
Everyone wants to see these two race. The 300Zx guy has no problem, but the guy with the S13 is to chicksh*t to run.
List of excuses:
-Car is pinging too much
-Cams are fucked
-See my GF
-Don't want to thrash my car
etc etc etc
He claims to have beaten a WRX, Starlet GT turbo, Gti-R, R33 Gtst, supra turbo and a 4A-GZE corolla. Also he said he'd "leave the 300 for dead
the s13 guy keep making excuses but still dissing other cars.

Nissan Sliva S13 K's, CA18DET (T28)
or
Nissan 300ZX Fairlady V6 Twin-Turbo

Point 6. I'd expect the 300zx to reel the Silvia it once it hit 150kph.
Point 7. Most Silvia owners talk utter shit about what their car can do. I doubt it's beat any of the cars on that list.
Point 8. Why bother setting up the race. Street racing is illegal - don't you watch Today Tonight?. Go to your local drag strip.

My friend with a 300zx TT... and its a weapon. A ca18 will struggle to beat a commo...
even giving that it has a t28 (guessing from a s14a or s15) it will still struggle to beat the 'z' probably only off line but no where past 100km/h... "on the strip"

id say it would depend on whos the better driver as both cars are hard to launch right. comes down to skill more than power. ive beaten alot of faster cars than mine only because i know how to drive.(all on the race track)

tell them to drop excuses - goto a drag strip and get the timeslip to prove whos is better ..
re the cars - Ones big fat and has long legs
the other is ugly everyone has them these days, but probably better over an initial jump but not in the long run..

sounds like the silvia guy is full of it itherwise he would race so i would say the 300ZX... but is the 300 NA or turbo? and has anyone seen this silvia? and mods... if they are both stock then 300

The only way to find out is to take 'em to the track. Until then just tell Silvia guy to shut up until he can prove it.
P.S. Are both or either of the cars Auto? 'cuz if they are, then it explains a lot.

Okay, on paper the 300zx should win. It has more power to weight than the CA18DET Silvia. That's assuming they are stock. With more power mods, the S13 may beat it power wise. Only one way to find out.
