 What is Wrong with my EFI????????

Ok i just intalled my efi on my car it is controoled by a microtech digi one and is on a 2tg motor.
Got up this morning and drove it around town fine for 20-30 mins, when i stopped at my freind house for an hour i hoped back in my car and started it up moved about ten meters and it stopped.
On the computer it diplayed it was not getting power nor idlepulse, after a while of siiting there it started again got a kilometer down the road and it konked out again i turn my igniotion right of, and then the car would start again then it konked out againb 20 meters later. the powere and idle pulse would only come back on if i turned ignition right of.

maybe its coonected to yr speedo
when it gets too many pulses from the speedo
it turns of the microtech
sorry i should not make jokes
turn the ign on but dont start
now go around and wiggle the wiring
relays etc anything to do with microtech
especially dizzy wires
if the mircotech starts turnin on and off then u have a bad connection

i installed it correctly, just has something wrong within the wiring, but yeh thanks for your help will check it out, anyone else got any ideas.

HEHE I hope i dont have these probs with my wiring. Id say something serious is going on but i doubt a bad connection. It wouldnt fix itself as soon as you turn it off. Maybe a dodgy relay for your ecu is shitting itself.

Although I don't have a microwreck I would assume the ECU uses the tacho pulse to work out if the cars stalled... i.e. your tacho pulse is your idler pulse and as a safety feature the ecu should power off the car if it stalls (in case of an accident)
Maybe your tacho wire is dodgy or tacho signal too weak?

wish my efi told me wut's wrong with it like that
it told you wut's wrong...
trace the offending wire(s) backwards till you find the open circuit causer
do you know P=IR ?
kinda helps in the process ...
altho i guess you just need a voltmeter or trouble lite

there is one wirte which was connected to the old points dizzy which isnt goign anywere now because the new dizzy did not have any were for it to go anyone know what it could be for (and yes my tacho is working)

No the wire will not matter. On a points dizzy there is a wire from the (-) of the coil going to the dizzy. When u convert to electron ignition the wires go from the ignitor top the dizzy so the old (Black) wire from the coil can basically be left out and doesnt need to be conected. Seeings as this is a problem that comes and goes id say maybe a dodgy relay the keeps opening and closing or something along those lines could be the problem.

I drove it and fidled with it for a while and found it was my throttleposstion sensor it was only just on and the clip was missing. so now i have secured it proply and the car is running well.
