Damn you interstate peoples.  
I dunno what that would be worth... Probably over $10grand if it's done well... The manual makes it a little different to most 1J MX83's.
I am pissed off that this wasn't for sale when I was having to reco my 7M a month ago.

If this is an import that isnt suited to rego and suited for race or rally reg it couldnt be worth more than $5,000
otherhand a genuine aussie cressida with 1JZ etc or a personal import Chaser / Cresta etc would be worth 10,000

there are always 1J's floating around man. Jus gotta find them. My mate just bought a Chaser 1J front cut for 3k.. everything bolted into his cressida. Looks jus like yours actually but now its 1J. very hard to find 1J 5pd.

I think 16k is really pushing it.
A glx is around 6-8k on average. Lets say the conversion costs around 6500. That ends up being 12500-14500. And being a modified vehicle, you never get the money back that you spent on it. So its back down to 10k. Maybe 11 because of the coilovers.
16k is dreaming. If you have the time, you may get it, but dont expect it to be a quick sale.
But this is only my opinion.

Very nice vehicle ,
Anyone interested this is an LX80 Mark2 originally a 2LT-E ( 2.4 Turbo Deisel ) mark 2 with a 1JZGTE conversion , hence the Diesel mark 2`s had a solid axle rear end with trailing arms and not the IRS rear end.

I have checked the VIN / CHASSIS number on the Toyota EPC in which it brings up a LX80 Mark 2 Diesel , If you get more pics of the car you will notice the GREEN compliance plate in what reads Toyota Mark 2 Diesel , and its also has the Solid Axle rear end in which only the diesels had this.

As I am currently building something similiar I know for a fact that you couldnt build it for less than twenty grand.clutch,brakes,manual 1j,wheels and tyres,exhaust,engineering+ original purchase price,coil overs,jzx81 front.It adds up very quickly.manual soarers are 18-Its tough to be selling modified cars.

I know what you mean... I could live with the fact that it was formerly a diesel Mark II if it had IRS. It is the major reason that I haven't looked into transportation costs to get it to Melbourne.
