Alloy or cast??

Just a quick question people but are the stock heads on a 1GGTE alloy or cast iron, i thought they were alloy but someone who is usually relaible told me they were cast iron, just wanted to clarify.

look at the side of it where the exhaust manifold bolts on. or where the injectors go into it

cheers, do the heads have a history of coroding easily??

all heads corrode if just plain water has been run. and to answer the question they are alloy, i dont think they have made cast iron heads for a long time now

You can still buy a commodore V6 for a couple more months
