im wanting to get some information on the Lexus V8?

what is the engine number?
what power does it have in standard form?
does this engine come with twin turbo series?
how much are front cuts for this engine?
any regular problems with this engine that people have had?

is there somewhere else to look up this engine so that i can do some research on it for a converion?

thank you so much for any help that you can give me.

use the search function - this has been covered *so* many times now

look at lextreme.com as well - you will find all the info you require.

As mentioned above, use the Search. It'll answer all of your questions.

Here's a hint, 1UZ-FE.

Mostly around 120rwkW through an auto, and 95% of them are autos.
I think HKS Pete is running 150rwKw with a manual, R154 maybe, and an a/m computer.

One common problem I know is that the power steering pump craps out leaking fluid into the alternator, on some of these engines.
For some people the first they know about the power steering problem is when the alternator fries.

go to www.lextreme.com they have spec sheets on the 1UZ-FE with bore x stroke, diemensions etc power output from all years etc which is on average about 250hp at the flywheel. and a 1UZ-FE forum with tons of information. they are quad cam 4.0l all alloy some come with separate ECU's for the auto trans which is good when doing a g'box swap so that the ecu can still run without it. most are auto, they came out of crowns, lexus SC400's and some other luxo jap barges.
