Add $5000-10000 to the cost of your engine, and it can be done.

seriously, these are very easy questions to answer yourself:

yes it would be worth it if you had a spare 10-12k to spend on a stock Sprinter.

yes, it would go like a FUCKING bat out of hell!! duhhhh.

yes, yes it would be mean, very mean indeed. Smile

When it spits you off the track backwards and into the wall in a flaming mess and breaks both of your so-called crazy legs, can Rex have the LHR tail light?

You're not very old are you?, dont worry, its a common misconception held by some youngsters that big engine power equals fast lap times. After having a Westie leave you well behind you will realise what a big error this is.

Be reasonable.

In initial D the engine in takumi's car is a formula atlantic 4age 20V.. That is 1.6L Naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine. no need 4 a big ass 1jz or 2jz.

2JZ's are for pussies. Get a 1GZ-FE V12, it will fit easily. AE86's have big engine bays, well suited to swapping in big engines!

What do you plan to use the car for? When you say "track" is that circuit or drag or what?

4AGTE? You obviously have a sizeable budget if you were considering a 2J transplant, so you could build a pretty mean-ass engine with that.

How about ZE block, 20V head and a nice BB T28????

ok thanks, and is it easier/cheaper to import a trueno or just get the front end (bonnent, lights bumper, etc) of one and stick it on a aus spec 86?
