Cheap Celica Parts Tue, 03 June 2003 00:20 Go to next message
Ive decided that I have too much junk sitting in my garage so I want to try and get rid of it. Here are some of the things I dont need. The come off a 90 model Celica and GT4.
Make me an offer because im gonna sell these cheap:

-Complete 5SFE engine with 170000km on the clock

-Celica gearbox with around 80k km on it

-ECU and loom for 5SFE

-5SFE alternator (used for less than 5000km)

-5SFE radiator and air con radiator

-5SFE air con compressor

-air con fan

-Celica instrument cluster

-stock airbox from 1990 Celica with resonator

-double din tape/radio plater from GT4 with attached cup holders.

-left GT4 front guard, slightly damaged

- 2 x Celica/GT4 pop up light assemblies with motors etc.

-Celica front calipers

-Celica front driveshafts

-5SFE clutch disk, used only 5000km

-Celica/GT4 brake booster

-2 x GT4 15 inch front wheels

And a bunch of other things i cant remember atm.

And in my friends garage:

-one ST205 motor with 80000km

-microtech engine management

-2x GT4 gearbox's (1 GRP A one)

- set of front GT4 driveshafts

-CT26 with manifold off ST185

If you need something, let me know, there's a lot more that i havent mentioned.

I'm interested in what's in your friends garage.

What kind of Microtec is it and what was it running?
What model GT4 are the drive shafts out of and how much does he want for them?
How complete is the ST205 motor and does he have a rough price on it?

Im not sure on the details of the microtech. He used it to run his ST205 engine in his ST185 GT4.

He wants 2k for the engine i think.

The driveshafts are out of a front cut i got. They are from an ST185 GRP A rally GT4. They have 50000km on them only.

Hey - what condition are the calipers in? I think we spoke before, but would they bolt onto the ST162 struts? I imagine so, but I am not 100%

(yeah, the other day, I meant to say, "a" gearbox, not "the" gearbox - my car not exactly 4WD Smile )

The calipers are fine... u can have them for cheap if u want them. Not sure if they will work on your car, u need to check that out first.

Smile about the gearbox comment

Air con compressor is perfect

They go for $200 at wreckers... make a non-stupid offer and you can have it... im not looking for anywhere near the price the wreckers are after

I thought your friend had sold the engine...let me know if he wants to separate the turbo and exhaust manifold since I'm after the bare engine only. Is he selling it with or without the W/A intercooler and ECU?

As far as i know, the engine was just sold to someone on this forums for a crazy conversion into a sprinter. The ECU and WTA IC are available. For those who have been asking me, i'll try and get specs on the Microtech as soon as i can.

Regarding the calipers, someone already wants to buy them. I'll let you know if the sale falls though.

At the moment it looks like the calipers and turbo/manifold have been sold.

I also remembered I have a set of driveshafts for an MR2 turbo. They are in excellent condition.

12 inch wide

3.5 inch high, a bit higher in the middle where the motor is.

I tried it on my car and it works perfectly.

U can have it for $45 if you want, or you can take the old one off my Celica which has been used for more k's for $35, your choice.

Yeah they are the exact same thing. It just looks similar to a normal radiator/ac fan. It comes standard on Celica's/GT4's...

Postage will be around $7-10 i think

I found some other parts:

- an O2 sensor off a GT4

-a shortened gear shifter for either a Celica or GT4. Its about 3cm shorter than the stock one.

-a gutted GT4 cat

Simon-MrRx7 - PM'd you regarding the shocks

Regarding the shortshifter, I finally found it and its still for sale. I sold one of the CF trims, not sure if it was the drivers or passengers side. I'll see which one I have left today. Also the GRP A gearbox was sold for $650, a bargain considering how much it would cost to buy from a wrecker.
