Garden hose for PCV hose?

My PCV (positive crankshaft ventilation) hoses are cracked, and there's nothing open now.
Oil and air comes through here, and it's at pretty high temperature.
Will garden hose last me until I can get some appropriate pipe?
It's dodgy but hopefully not so dodgy it will fuck something up.

This is air-brushed in a multi-shade green criss-cross, it must be custom.

ive done this, and where it joins the cam cover, it can get quite hot and eventually distorts and discolours the hose.
then again, its like $9 a meter, who cares!
also, the clear stuff does discolour evetually too, and looks crap
cheers

So long as whatever you eventually use is stabilised for oil, it will be fine, but be careful: Two types of hose that look identical, can have very different qualities - ask questions in relation to the application before purchasing!

You mean like " is this hose suitable to oil my garden with?" if answer is yes then OK for catch can/breather.
