new water pump? Sun, 08 August 2004 04:26 Go to next message
hey guys i got a big issue

basically the main hose from the radiator on the right is holding no pressure what-so-ever. its inbetween the turbo and the fusebox on the right there

now u sqeeze that and u dont get shit, i figured there should be pressure. there is a small water leak that drips to the right side of the car (wen ur looking toward the car from the front). it drips, kinda like a drip per 2 seconds, is that enough to loose all my pressure, or am i looking at a new water pump?

The coolant system is not pressurised by the water pump, so a loss of pressure doesn't mean there's anything wrong with your water pump. A leak on the other hand definitely will cause a loss of pressure. Find the leak and fix it.
