Dave's AE92 SX... updated... Sun, 08 August 2004 07:12 Go to next message
hey guys i thought i'd make a thread about my car...

its off the road atm, but i hope to get it rebuilt asap...

its still at the mechanic but i've been told i have a cracked piston and there is a problem with the ignition system... not sure what yet...

so far i've done all the usuall suspension work and a afm gze conversion was performed by IRA11Y and Mos (thanks!)

now the car is turbo using a custom exhaust manifold, T28 turbo and vr4 intercooler... with 7MGTE injectors and a microtech MT8, it also has a 2 and a half inch exhaust with high flow cat and muffler...

yeah i was thinking that...

the only reason i didnt from the day it went turbo was because i was worried about the paint on the bonnet cracking... it gets hot under there!

i think ill risk it... or i might make a heat sheild for it...

because the engine, gearbox, driveshafts and front brakes are from a AE92 Levin...

the badge was there so why not use it?
