FS: 87 Twin Cam Seca 100kW Slight Damage $2500 neg Thu, 05 August 2004 04:08 Go to next message
Hi Guys,

Quite a few of you have seen my car and how it goes. Last night I had an off where it went over a gutter. The mechanics this morning said something underneath was bent, but as soon as smash repairers were mentioned, I decided to sell. Don't know how hard to fix it. Was coming around a left hand sweeper and braked to avoid a cat running across the road and lost it.

It has:
-Full Stereo with brand spankers Pioneer Head Unit, 4" Kenwood front, 5x7" JBL rear fill speakers, 2 x 10" subs and a 4 x 100W amp

-Highly modified 100kW GTi engine with Stage 1 Street cams, mad exhaust putting out some serious power. Full rebuild approx 30k kms ago. Will need a service, bit otherwise an excellent 4AGE.

-SX Allows, don't know what the go is with the rubber - the spare is on.

-11 months rego (neg.)

Heaps of other stuff I can't think about now becuase I'm forced to sell my baby. Please contact me here, or:
by email: grant@effectiveservices.com.au
by phone: 0402570313

If it didn't have the problems with it, I would have been looking for just under $4k, but as is, $2.5k.

I would imagine you can fix it and drive it with the rego or part it out yuorself, keeping what you want and make some money out of it.

No quotes to fix, needs a panel beater. Mechy'd can't fix. Make a quick offer for cash and it's yours. Damage = wheels look crook at the front, rest looks fine. Bent somewhere on the drivers side of the sub-chassis.

Absolutely it can be fixed, I've even been told to day it wouldn't be that hard or expensive. It still has 11 months rego on it too. I just don't have the cash or time at the moment to do it Sad

wheel looks crocked? maybe u should get a quote from a pannel beater to get it fixed that might be easier to sell it. is the damage to the actual body/chassis of the car or is it something like your tie rod end joint or the steering rack? i hit a gutter and smashed my tie rod end joint only cost be 180 to fix but u could tell the diff. once u got it done.

It is the sub frame or some thing like that? I don't know. I just know I can't afford a trip to the panel beaters so off it goes.

The only information I have is a bent subframe on the driver's side.

I do not have the time to get a quote - I'm at it 7 days a week at the moment.

If anyone wants to come and take a look or get someone out, you are most welcome.

As it is right now, there's still 11 months rego and a full stereo, as well as everything else in it.

Forgot to mention - has a virtually brand new super heavy duty clutch, new radiator and battery.

Price is negotiable, as always.

Anyone wish to make an offer with OR without rego based on that information, please do.

Didn't get a price because the place that noted the damage wasn't a smash repairer/panel beater and I can't fix it.

Would love to sell whole - don't have the time or space to part it properly. If not, we'll just have to see.
