you don't know what it is? 
look at the connections it looks like a monitor plugs into it, then it must be a graphics card. Also the "3dfx" printed on the chipsets give it away a bit.

Oh i know its a graphics card, but the side connector thing dosnt plug into the same slot as my GeForce... I geuss its a bit of crap thats why it was sitting there collecting dust, on the the plugs one is a input and the other is the one with little pins

Its most likely a PCI graphics card, meaning it plugs into the white slots next to where the it usually plugs into. Personally the only thing its good for is for throwing at people.

i think it is an old skool strap on pci 3d graphics accelerator it piggy backs off the existing video card
you were right nothing to flash

Its a peice of shit 3d expansion card. we had one at work, found it lieing around, and ditched it, its worthless, it was for old cards, you would piggy back your card to this and then plug the monitor into the expansion, and it would add better graphics.
peice of shit..

Its an old 3dfx voodoo card.
These were the first real 3d cards and back in those days they were all piggy back cards... used to have a nice relay click sound when you changed from your 2d to your 3d card.
Don't knock these cards as if it weren't for 3dfx we probably wouldn't have the kind of 3d cards we do today (ATI Radeon, GeForce etc.)

I've still got 2 voodoo2's sitting here. Used to use them in SLI mode which is where nvidia are heading atm.

My Mums PC as an ATI 32Mb Video card and is piggybacked with a Voodoo2 16mb 3D-FX card as well.. I have no troubles with it. It's just there for the hell of it but in it's haydays it was way better then the Voodoo 3D-FX card which is displayed above which could be a 4 or 8mb card...

If I recall you could piggy back two and have one control horizontal and the other vertical resolution and get better performance, which back then was pretty impressive considering other factors. They were pretty expensive at the time too, now not worth much. but then thats the waay with everything computers.
