Hey Guys, I am selling my MA70. Here are the basic details.

215000kms (about 100K on engine)

Silver
Full service history with Toyota.
Power windows, mirrors, seats.......

No Pics at this stage, but it's in the July Issue of Hot4s towards the back.(Canberra Celica Group article)

I'm in no rush to sell it, so if you won't have the money for a few months I am willing to hold it provided I am given a decent deposit.

Also I will consider trade plus cash adjustment for something cheap and registerable.

hey thanks for the offer. of course when the time comes I will want to have a look around at what else is available. I will have a budget of around 12-14 grand and that gives me a few options. a good ma70 is one of them.

Hey guys, I found a house I wanna buy, so having the money for the car for a deposit would be very helpful.

Make an offer. You might just get yourself a bargain Wink

Hey trent, was wondering if u could give me more info and post some photos. Am wondering when the timing belt was last changed and the last BHG, if the head has been shaved or warped before. Also if there is any rust in the car... under spare tire etc. I am currently looking for a MK3 supra. More info the better

Hi,

The timing belt was last changed about 10K kms ago.

I think there is a little bit of rust in the back, but I'm pretty sure it's nothing too bad. I'll check it out hopefully this afternoon for you. It could even just be dirty Razz. It's lived in Canberra it's whole life, so rust shouldn't be an issue.

The current engine doesn't appear to have had a BHG.

Head hasn't been shaved or anything. Like I said, it's stock as a rock Smile

I'll try and sort out pics in the next couple of days. For now I'll try to find the Hot4s Mag with the pics and post them.

Where are you located?

Trent

Hey again,

i am in wagga which is only like 2.5 hours away. Am glad to hear that the timing belt has been changed cause most mk3's i have been looking at havent had there belt changed for 150,000km Sad
You said it has 215,000km on the car so i am guessin a new engine has been dropped in or a full rebuild 100,000km ago.

Am eger too see more pictures, interior etc.

thanks again

regards,
Phil

Spot on. Engine replaced with brand new engine about 100K kms ago.

I'll see what I can do about more pics. I don't own a digicam, so I'll have to borrow one.

It has had a minor front end a couple of years back. No serious damage done, just the front bumper replaced.

The front bumper has a bit of a scratch on the front right hand corner due to my own stupidity. I'll make sure I take a pic of this so that you can see.

Also, I blew the head gasket yesterday. If you are interested in getting the car a little cheaper then feel free to make an offer, otherwise I will have this fixed immediately. No engine damage done, it is just using some oil and coolant. I knew that the car was overdue for a BHG, so I've been keeping a close eye for any symptoms. No milky oil, or oil in radiator.

I stopped driving the car completely as soon as I noticed, and it will not be driven until fixed to ensure no damage is done to the engine.
