Hatch gas-struts for ae86. I am curious where to get new ones? And how much? I have been hit on the back too many times and one of my fav shirts now has a grease spot!

start cruising wreckers
just take some measurements of yoru strut and compare with what you find

I grabbed some out of a RA60 Celica which fit if you remove the rubber stoppers from your hatch and use those bolt holes. (They are about 2-3cm further down which give enough room for the gas strut to compress fully) They are slightly harder to push down too because the boot looks heavier on those celicas. Not bad for $20.

Like Steve said, just get them reconditioned!
* Cheaper than new ones
* They will fit for sure
* No bends necessary
