1. Put socket and large breaker bar on bolt.
2. Wedge breaker bar against the ground.
3. Hit the starter BRIEFLY, ie just enough to crack it.
Sounds dodgy, but it worked like a charm on my 2JZ.

That will undo the bolt. Then use a puller to remove to pulley from the crank.

i had 2 people, and what i did was put two bolts in the pulley (there are threaded holes in the pulley itself) and then wedge a huge screwdriver between the two to use it as a lever so to speak, whilst the other person had the breaker bar and a piece of pipe over it.
MUCH safer than cranking the engine over if you have never done it before.

and if you still cant get the bolt off to take the pulley off, heat the bolt with an oxy and then try undoing it.

Is there going to be a version of the WST-010 Crank Pulley Undoerer that will be compatible with "engine still in car"?

Mine would work in a car. It involved a big breaker bar and and a 3 foot long aluminium pole.

Then you use the norbie way... wedge a big f'off bar against the ground / a crossmember or whatever and crank the engine.
