Classic CROWN Cruise Aug 21Now with Pics Sun, 01 August 2004 00:22 Go to next message
Hi all,

I'm organising an event for my other forum Classic Crown. A web based club for Crowns and Cressida's. I'm posting this on here cause I know that there are a few running around here to.

Firstly I know this is the day before the Aug event so it may be hard for Toymoders to make both, so go to mini golf to support Toymods. This is the only weekend I have free for a while hence the reason for this date.

Also I want to head to palm beach. I know its been done here before but it is an easy cruise. The reason is that this is the first time that I know off the The forum members of Classic Crown will be getting together so I applied the KISS principle.

I've been wanting to get all the Sydney Crown owners together for a get together, when ever I post up if anyone is interested there is mixed response, so this time I will just post up a time and place and hopefully you can all come.

Meeting Date: Sat 21 of August
Meeting Time: 12 midday
Meeting Place: Carpark 6C, off Australia Ave Homebush Olympic Park (near the station)
Destination: Palm Beach

OK plan is to meet at the car park at 12 to leave for palm beach by at the latest 1. The cruise to the beach is an easy one, we follow Australia Ave to Homebush Bay Dr. Turn left and head north, this turns into Ryde Rd, then Mona Vale rd. Then depending on the turn up and how people feel we can turn left and head down McCarrs Creek Rd. which is more scenic however a little bumpy and then Barrenjoey Rd to Palm beach.

There are BBQ's at Palm beach so bring some snags to throw on.

I'm planning this as a day where people with similar interests can get together and have a good day. Bring your wives, girlfriends and families.

If your not sure where the meeting spot is I will be there early and parking the car in a prominent spot that can be quite clearly seen from Australia Ave. (lets face it a lowered Ms53 on 17's is hard to miss)

Again I hope many Crown and Cressida as well as anything else Toyota or not can come as It should be a great day.

If anyone has any issue's or inquiries call me Luke on 0401624192

Can't make it for Sunday either as i won't get up in time to make it.
Start work at 3.00pm on saturday and don't finish till 6.30am on Sunday.
Still if the cruise was up this way or to the Central Coast then i would be able to make some time for it,maybe.

Have fun everyone and don't forget the pics for Struan. Laughing

Stitt,

I think it would be well worth making it an annual thing. Perhaps then some of the other Crown owners wil put on there Cardigans and come out and play.

Crownies in the park or something. I dunno, Just seams like a good idea.
