pretty sure norbie still has one sitting under his house (I have one that I'm not sure of the condition of you can have) if you decide not to go the way of the manual conversion.

So it wasn't the torque converter?

No, dammit, though yours is still welcome behind my engine.
It's going to be a bit too much of a pain to do manual conversion, I could do it but none of the Jap wreckers are much help, perhaps in a couple of months.
Hopefully a box will come up.
