EOI: PMP-80Y, 1984 AE71 with *TURBO* 100kW 4A-GE, Sydney

UPDATED 13/1/05
Basic Details of the Car:
MODEL: 1984 AE71 Corolla, RWD
ENGINE: 100kW 4A-GE, converted to RWD, turboed with RB25DET b.b. turbo, GZE injectors, GZE ecu with greddy emanage piggyback system, aristo 2jzgte inter-brick*, K&N pod filter, Bosch fuel pump (bigger than VL one), surge tank etc
DRIVELINE: T50, T series diff 4.11:1 centre (from TE72). W58 and 4a->w58 bellhousing, hilux tailshaft and hilux rn41 diff sitting on floor - might be available at the right price
REGO: Expires 24th Oct, 2005.
CONDITION OF CAR: Its a shit tin daily driver. Body painted Matt Black, little bits of bog and rust here and there. Panels are straight, and it has the rear boot spoiler from the Spirit model. Engine runs beautifully, a little smokey but otherwise fucking quick. There is a small issue with knock sensor control, but a microtech or similar will sort this out 100% and give you much better power outputs on more boost - i can remove the emanage and knock off $500.
Currently has comfy and low RA65 front seats modified to fit (legally), engine number is blue slipped to the car, has electronics oil pressure guage, velour rear seats and door trims! ... i cant remember it all, check the linked thread below:
http://forums.toymods.org.au/index.php?t=msg&t h=19077&start=0&rid=883&S=d93d8a0f987d 76a049507ecfd6d501d3
If you are interested at all, post here. Would be sold for nothing under $5000, thats without the emanage... something **might** be able to be negotiated with the driveline etc.
Chuck up an offer if you want, i can only reject or accept or counter offer!

make an offer, but dont make a stupid one, or else i'll kick your arse.
Somewhere around $3000?? But that depends on what you want to go with it:
# Rego
# Turbo and manifold
# Pink Slip
The T series is the HUGE drum brake version.

That's the idea of EOI... "How much would you pay for this?"
We do not know how much it is really worth, we know how much we paid for it + parts + labour and with just the car plus parts (not inc rego, labour, turbo or number plates) it has cost around $3,000

We won't be selling the turbo until the car is sold... at the moment we are just seeing if theres any interest in the pimp mobile.
As for the rust it can all be seen in pics in the members rides thread... its in the drivers side boot sill and a little bit on the pass side beaver panel.

how easy will the good bits transfer to a ke70 pvan?
im not too sure about the AE71-KE70 similarities.
if easy, i may have 2-2500 with your name on it in a few weeks if i can negotiate a good price on the van.
what did you do with the fuel lines? surge tank?
whats the go with the engine? had a hard life?
if and or when i come and look prob talk me closer to 3000 if i can be convinced of the engine is in really good condition, or closer to 2000 if the box feels bad and engine isnt 100%
im in penrith...
thoughts?

here's the deal:
# car wont be properly on the market until Nov.
# car will have rego for 12 months as of the 13th October
# engine is in decent working condition, burns a little oil but what 4A doesnt? Who really cares when it keeps going this hard?
# Gearbox is pretty good nick.
Thus pricing will probably be as follows:
~$3000 without turbo setup. Remember this is a complete 100kW RWD conversion with T series 4.11:1 rear end and 12 months rego.
If the turbo is wanted the price goes up. Negotiate when the time comes.
Its not just my car, its Toobs' as well, so he too has a say in this.

Ahh but the money raised from the sale of PMP80Y would go towards doing up my GT4 and also to bringing Witzl's yellow unicorn RA28 out on the road.

I'm sure for a small fee almost all of it could be bolted into your AE86.
Witzl also has a W58 and 4A bellhousing to suit and a hilux diff for when the good old T50 and T series diff self destruct... these would be sold seperately of course and I think Witzl kind of wants to keep the W58.

I think we need dyno figures & 1/4 mile times now that it should really hammer.
I'd be tempted, but I'm already planning on buying an older Subaru with WRX power & traction for round that price.
Good luck & free bump

Dyno figure should be 120+ RWkW if the tuning dyno runs are anything to go from.
And yes we will have to G-Tech the car sometime but we have to find a nice flat legal piece of tarmac to do it on.
Pre-turbo 1/4 mile time was ~15.79
