advice on shipping car parts from America Wed, 08 September 2004 10:19 Go to next message
hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any davice for me on this one.

im currently in the united states (pennsylvania to be exact) and have access to some pretty well priced bits and peices id like to ship back. namely 2 or 3 FWD engine and gearbox combos, and maybe a few sets of tyres ect.

any advice at all would be appreciated. even if someone knows some sort of rough idea of how much this might cost, we are thinking itll be a 40 by 48" pallet, by about 36" tall, and be around 400lbs. shipping from the east coast.

cheers.

The most ive bought over from USA is a Autometer boost gauge. Saved heaps of money.

I did however bring my AW11 over from japan cost 800 bucks took a month. weighs around 2200 pounds... I dont know if that was a flat fee for half a container or done by weight

Dont know if this info helps
