1JZ.. what's that bit? Thu, 09 September 2004 09:04 Go to next message
Hi guys

I'm not one for electronics, so help me out here Very Happy

Connected on the same place as the ignitor pack on a 1JZ is a little 'thingy' that's no bigger than 1cm. I'm hoping it's something simple and I can replace it with a generic part (eg. something from Jaycar).

If anyone can help that'd be great, saves me ordering from Toyota Smile

Cheers

Leigh

What they said, and yes it is a generic item. You should be able to grab one from any auto parts store.

Note your engine will run fine without it, but any radio within 10 metres will pick up the RF transmissions from your ignition system. This is rather annoying when you're trying to listen to some tunes let me tell you!
