Hey,
yeah i have some queries about trueno jblood front bar. The most expensive part is of course bringing in the original and the freight from japan is not exactly friendly.
I will see what i can do because i am thinking of bringing in the jblood wide fenders, i may be able to bring in the bumper all at once but its just all matter of time. I will see how the Levin kits go first and well go from there i guess.
Thanks for your feedback.

the wide fenders ur talkin about...do u mean both front/rear? like wide body kits for Sils? There is a video going around on the net AE86 special V2 with keitchi tsuchia (bah) in it that has a black AE86 with huge ass flares on it and yeah...looks sweet, i dont suppose you can get those?

the N2 kits are fully chunky work of art, where as the jblood ones are much more subtle. The jblood fronts are also full replacment front fenders with vents. They look mint in my opinion. The TRD N2 are awesome stuff but over the top for my taste.

While we are on the subject, Wei, can we get an idea of how much a full set of replica flares would be? I'm just wondering whether it might be better to hold off ordering the front bar, skirts, and pods until these are available.....
Cheers,
Jeremy.

HI Jeremy,
I think I am still pretty far away from doing the flares at the moment Jeremy, I have not got the originals yet as well as i am still deciding whether to do them. The flares would be sold separately with the kit. So you may wish to get the kit first if you want it.
I am unsure of that the flares would be worth as I have not bought the originals or got the manufacturing cost so I am unable to tell u what they are worth.
If anybody is chasing the Jblood kits let me know, I have more stock.
Thanks
Wei

Toycam: Sorry, i dont think i will bring that kit in. Unless you want original which is very dear, you may want to opt for the type-3 else use front lips.
AE86drift: I have plan in my mind to bring in wide fenders front and rear but for LEVIN hatch back ae86 as there are many more levins and much more common with more demand.
See how things come along.

THe front guards are full replacment but i think the rear wide fenders actually go over the standard rear quarter to make it wider. So i think u may want fix ur rusty bits b4 u actually mount the rear fenders

ur probably right but if i get and outer skin i can just go a little silly with an angle grinder and cut away most of the guard to allow for wider rims / track width, either way can u actually get a price on the fenders? or a link i can follow to find out how much they are x japan, because if its not something ur planing on geting any time soon ill buy some from japan and let u make a mould and maybe we can make some sort of deal on the rest of the kit hey?

The Jblood makes the JDm rear bumper as well as the rear pods. They are separate items. The rear jdm bumper made by jblood is lighter than the original item and it looks slightly different
from the Auspec rear bumper.
I have the JDM rear bumper and will be moulding it soon to produce the rear fibreglass jdm bumper
thanks

Yeah, or a copy of one. Notice it has no number plate lights whereas the aus spec does. Also note that it has J-Blood 'pods' fitted.

Am I going crazy or does that demo car actually have the rear flares? You can see the high ridge and the overlap coming in to the fuel filler area. I think its just not as prominent in yellow....

That's what I thought too Anthony, but the actual wheelarch looks as though it has been flared i.e. it looks like it protrudes at more of an angle whereas the wide fenders are a bit more flat.
I dunno. It's pretty hard to see with stickers all over it and as you say, the colour.

yeah it does have them...you can see by the fuel filler cap thingi, its sunken in a bit. Plus why would they make a demo car for their kit and not fit it with all their products
BTW if i calculated corectly the fenders cost 100 000 yen or abouts there from jblood...which is about 1300 aus plus shipping im guessing.....i cant really read japanese so someone corect me if i misread the page plz

Hey joyride,
i think that .T. i think hes name is Toby has got those type of flares. If im not wrong they are universal fit but can fit ae86. You may want to ask him about it.
Regarding Trueno front ends, I will soon have available the trueno stock fibre glass front guards and pumped out 20mm trueno front vented guards. Should also have the bonnet available and standard fibreglass trueno front bar but will not have JBLOOD trueno front bumper.
