Either way if your ra60 is stock or even containing any R series engine (other than maybe a first gen 18rg) my boaring little FWD would still beat your car by a mile!

i assume your car is from 1990 onwards ??? for a start... u have 2 cams rather than my 1 !! secondly your car is EFI mine is carbie...
If my car did beat yers i would laugh at u... if i had an
18R-GE then i would compete.. but i don't so hmmm
But i am just saying how i don't rate FWD cause they remind me of my mum's ford festiva!

Re: Tassie roll call Wed, 01 September 2004 22:03 Go to previous messageGo to next message
I didn't mean to have a go but i just cop a bit of crap from people who drive rwds and a majority of them are shit slow (slower than ra60) rwds that couldn't even spin the wheels if they tryed. I know rwd can be a lot of fun but it is that fun that got me booked 3 times and 2 official warnings in my first year of driving. for a track car i couldn't go past a rwd but just for a street car that is ecconomical and still has a bit of go i can't see anything wrong with a fwd.

I am also a bit of a fan of the 18RG but strangely enough i've only ever had an 18RC, id prefer the early 18RG that was still carb than the newer efi ones. To much emissions crap that slows down the newer one, however if it was an early 18RG with an efi conversion then it would be a weapon! My car is a May 87 model although it has the same setup that was used in the post 89 aus spec models and it does have the advantage of a 4AGE.

Mookie,

You wouldn't have seen my car as its been in the rebuild stage for about three years now. I have just recently bought a ta22 and stealing the 4age and box out of the ke20 to get it going soon. Do you know who owns the white ta22/23 in kingo with the huge chrome wheels.
