looking at getting a new car in the not too distant future.
needs to be rwd.
thinking about old school style soarers. whats the diff between the two models. like one has 7mgte and other 1ggte are they otherwise the same,or diff production yeras also.
also what about a 180 are these in about this price range. how do they compare to the toyotas power wise.
dont want to get another cressida as will spend to much money on another 1j conversion.
any other ideas people.
oh and needs to be newish. no 70's cars

dude dont get an old soarer. My matres got one and it is SHIT! Like it looks nice and sounds good, cos its straight 6 turbo, but, my 2000 4cy 1.8l rolla beats it so so easily.
Five to six grand, get a 76 Celica, the old mustang bodies. Now thats a hot car.
Or if u were willin to fork out another like 1 to 2 grand get yaself an 89 300zx, or supra.
All depends what your lookin for, but id definately look into the old silly cars

for that price, you are probably looking at either an MA61 or a banged up GZ20 soarer.
Personally i would be into an AE71, pimped out with a massif 4agte!

AW11SC! I got mine (minor front damage (spare a bumper, anyone?) otherwise OK) for $5700. That was before I realized that spare MR2 panels don't *exist* any more... yea, parts are a bitch but as for a pocket rocket that fits in your price range, hell yeah

well trying to keep away from older cars as my daily driver and currently selling my 3tgte ta22.
hmm thought the nissans were cheaper now.
aw11sc sounds allright, would have preferd a larger car but if anyone knows of one in that price range would love to have a look.
soarers cant be that slow surely!!!

will be pretty hard pressed to get a decent car around 5-6k
save up a bit more money and you should to be able to get something nice under 10k
