i think fireworks are legal in canberra, which is why you go there to get them.

When I was up at Summernats me and mates brought back a whole lot... We have used them all now and are wishing we weren't so crackerhappy. 
When we bought them the dude at the shop in Fyshwick said that the law was changing soon and would make it hard to purchase them. I guess he wasn't lying, it seems to have happened.

damn i been asking around, they said queensbeyan is also a good place for fireworks, i will have to go and see myself  well canberra ae86's here comes my 86, if there are any 86's in canberra lol. i am leaving like in about 10mins ? lol i will tell you if there are fireworks still avaliable should be a good weekend.

Thats somewhat how it is in the provinces of Ontario and British Columbia in Canada. In Ontario, you can, if a citizen, possess small amounts of and smoke weed in your own home. However, growing it and selling it are still against the law. Funny that. In BC, it is alleged that up to 30g is considered "personal consumption". Can't remember how many ounces that is. If the police catch you with it, its a nominal fine. Don't quote me, as I'm not sure thats totally correct- some hippie from Victoria Island told me that.
Oh, and they outlawed the possession and consumption of weed for non-Dutch citizens in Amsterdam. It was never legal there, only tolerated. If you had 6g or less, and were 18 or older, the cops tended to look the other way. Now, no more. Damn.

Notice how no one from Canberra has replied yet, we are all too busy letting off crackers while we watch porn and smoke cones 
Occassionally us Canberrans do get out for a fang in our cars, while watching porn on the in car DVD and throwing crackers out the window at passers-by 
Canberra is not really a fantastic holiday destination unless you have come for a specific event or reason. Or unless you want to see the tourist spots.
If you want to check out the cars of Canberra, then Friday night, in the City area (albeit a very small city area) and up Lonsdale street in Braddon (a suburb beside the City). Usually picks up after 9:30pm.

yeh i think it is legal to grow up to 3 plants for perso in Canberra...it used to be 15 in SA  now it is 5 or 8,which if you know what you are doing should yeild 6 or so pounds...and they wonder why it all comes from SA....

from january 2005 i'll be there for 4 years when i go to ADFA for 3 years then RMC Duntroon for another 12 months after that. I'm sure us army boys will source out all the porn and firecrackers  maybe even lob a couple at a few embassies

Okay guys i am back basically, there is no firecrackers for sale now, due to some new law bs, and can only be sold during the queens birthday week so i was told, i went to adam and eve and adult world in fyshwick was great saw the biggest porn collections stacked like video ezy and kinky things lol.

i went to adam and eve, they also sell fireworks, and fireworks world all around fyshwick, my time wasn't wasted as adam and eve are giving out free x-rated dvd haha
the roads there are so god damn big, and roundabotus i saw this huge roundabout with a pond in the middle hows that for big !!
