Basically, Sa guys are doing road trip to Vic for the Calder Park Drift coimp in dec.

Vics are organising a large meet up.

So, who else is keen to come down and make a MASSIVE AE86 meet, possibly an Australian first!

Well, the plan was always there.... I guess it's official now!

I'll be there!

Flyers would be good (Garth?) so we can hand them out/stick under wipers of any AE86's we may come across.

I guess I'd be in.. but only on a few conditions..

-Some other hachis from sydney also go and there is a large convoy.

-there are a few good organised stops..

-someone in melb guides us syd people around. accomodation and directions to the comp and stuff.

800kms is a hell of a drive... Ive done it before (not to melbourne to byron in one hit) and its no fun...

and ofcourse Im not sure if im busy on said days yet.. heh.

im same as Andrew ^^^^, some other 86's in a bit of a train, make sure we've got good organised breaks and shit. Smile

i drove to Jamboree up in Qld last year with one other mate in the car, and another 2 mates in a car in front, we did the whole Sydney-Brisbane trip in one hit, 3 fuel/food stops, then another quick stop up at Brunswick to see a mate, bang bang bang, piece of piss, was damn fun too, just cruised at 120km/h the whole way, left around 5:30am, there about 6ish.

i reckon if we do it, make it all in one hit, 2 stops for fuel/lunch etc., we'll be there in no time.

atm im pretty much in for sure, providing the 4AGTE is running reliably lol. Very Happy

i dont need to give much notice to work for the time off, the only thing that is in the back of my mind atm is the fact that i have to try to stretch out the delay of losing my license, if its only a month well then ill have it back by the time we leave for Victoria, but if its gonna be 3 months, then i have to try to stretch it out until the start of December. damn pain in the arse lol. but yeh either way ill make sure im going on this roadtrip!! As For the Flyers , i haven't seen that there is even a Fulllock Flyer for this event yet Crying or Very Sad . I will get in contact with Fulllock and see if maybe we get this added to there Flyer , or Make are own or make theres . The graphical stuff i have seen done on this site by some of the above people is SHIT HOT Shocked , and way better than the flyers / posters i have seen for there events .

Who here would agree ?

Or want to produce the Flyer ?

Ok, what's the Sydney guys preference? Early morning start (arrive afternoon) or night start (arrive morning)???

Can I suggest that we depart on the 10th (Friday) at say, 5-6 am so we arrive in the afternoon in time for a few beers or whatever and then meet up with everyone else on the Saturday for a cruise or something, then to the dorifuto on Sunday? Are people able to take at least the Friday and Monday off? I would prefer to stay Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. How many days do ppl want to stay down there? I'm not really fussed as I have until the 17th off..... I'll look into accomodation over the next week or so.

So we have:

Bathurst-91 Definate
Sprinter-Saurus Definate
DMonk86 Possibly
John K Definate
Garth Definate
Des Definate
UUP-46X Possibly
AE86slut Definate

Anybody else? It's time to get definate numbers so we can start organising accomodation etc so if you think there is only 50% chance you will be coming or you are not seriously interested and committed to coming, please don't stuff everyone around.

C'mon guys, show your love for the hachi roku and let's make this the biggest gathering we can! Just think how cool it would be to have a real shit-load of them all together.

I'm not definate just yet, as i said i need to make sure i can get time off work & get my car on the road, but it's a real possibility!

So... the sooner i know how many days i need to get off the sooner i can confirm for ya, will you guys be driving back up monday or later in the week?

Cheers, Michael

haha i never knew i was coming? Surprised

but yeah, if it is highly organised and definate numbers i'm in.

so would this fit in a 9-5 Mon-Fri schedule? ie. only spend the weekend there?

if we left piss early on Sat morning it would be good, but it'd take a good 10 hours, so not much time spent down there....

whta is the event? LOL
