From what I am aware of (but no expert), the main differences are engine (doh !!), gearbox (W58 vs R154), diff ratio, possibly trim levels, engine oil cooler (really pissy) and that is about it.
Google for MA70, and you'll find heaps of sites that should list the major differences.

According to the DBA catalogue, no. AFAIK, all of the Aussie delivered MA7X were the same brake wise, it appears that only the GA7x were different (or imported MA7x)
