HAVE HAD A OIL CATCH CAN LIEING ROUND FOR A WHILE SO HAVE DECIDED TO PUT IT IN MY AE86 I RECENTLY PURCHASED. IT CURRENTLY HAS A HOSE GOING FROM THE CAM COVER TO THE INLET MANIFOLD. THIS IS WHERE MY QUESTION LIES DO I PLUG UP THE WHOLE IN THE INLET MANIFOLD OR DO I PUT A BREATHER ON IT?
Depends...If your catchcan has a breather on it you plug the hole in your inlet manifold. If it has no breather then you should connect the inlet manifold up to your catchcan too.

The catch-can should be installed so you have hose from cam cover to catch-can and then from the catch-can to your intake manifold.
The catch-can just helps to remove the oil from the vented gases keeping your intake free from oil vapour which can help to minimise detonation and pollution.
