Courtesy of neuroanatomy lectures:
Compare the joining regions at the centre of each cross. The one on the left should look dark grey to purplish and the joining region on the right should look pale yellow.
Then using a picture editor, remove the areas surrounding the centre of each cross.

You have to cut away the rest of the picture, but not the centre of both crosses (one appearing blue/grey, one yellow). They are actually both the same colour. Try it.

Yeah pretty cool. My first two weeks of neuroanatomy were optical illusions. T'was cool. This one had most of the class calling bullshit on the lecturer , but its legit.

Cut out the panel labelled B, and paste it near the panel labelled A. They're both the same colour.
