RA-23 and RA-40 disk brakes

Hey guy i was wondering if the disks of an RA-40 will fit up correctly on my 23? Also i was wondering wat brake pads most of you guys are running which work well on a lowered celica?

they is same brakes ... rather than look for better pads - investigate an upgrade to XT130 stuts and better calipers.

Yes, the rotors will fit, RA23 and RA40 front brakes are identical. I'm not sure if these brake pads work all that well on a lowered Celica, but see if you can get EBC, Padgid or Endless pads to suit your ride.

Since when does lowering a car affect ability to fit brake pads or braking ability? Am I missing somehting?

You are not missing a thing.
Lowering or raising a car has no bearing on the brake pads you could fit. I was just answering Pete's question using words that he would like to hear.

I actully seem to find that a car with lowered hardened springs stop alot better then normal springs as it feels like a boat but thats just me.
