I currently have a spare st205 3sgte motor and want to buy a lexus IS200 i was wondering if this would bolt onto the 6 speed.

I doubt it will bolt straight up, but would be a good box IMO, to hook up with. There are plenty of Turbo Altezza in Japan, I have a friend over there, with a blitz SC kit in his, and has never had issues with his box. (Gearbox Razz)

isn't the IS200 a 1gge? you'd probably need a japanese 3sge 6speed as well unless the IS200 6speed is adaptable?

yea that's right, narrow bank FE, bellhousing is still diff between s and g motors though?

Yes the locally delivered IS200 has a 1G-FE, and no the G series bellhousing is not compatible with the S series block.

Converting an ST205 engine to RWD configuration is a very major undertaking though; the bellhousing is the least of your worries!
