i havel ately put efi onto my older carbied 2tg head with the new dizzy and efi the distributor hits the fuel rail and will only let me tune it to 15 deg on the crank pulley, has anyone had this problem.

well is htis a desired time for the dizzy i got told to tune at 13 what is 15 going to do for me?

Around 10-15BTDC at idle is fine. Optimal setting will depend on your tune, compression, cam profiles, etc. etc. Make mild adjustments and road test.

I've been advised 10 deg base at idle with total ~30degrees advance is good.
