want to do turbo conversion on 93-94 2wd hilux,for $5000 what would be the best bang 4 buck\ ease of conversion engine 2 go for, and how hard would it be do do myself.

1. Do a search, this has been asked many times in the last few months.
2. Tell us what engine is already in your hilux, this will help.
3. Not knowing your experience and facilities at your diposable its hard to know whether or not you will find a conversion hard to do.
4. Whatever the case you may have to get more realistic with your budget.

prob easy turbo conversion would be a sr20,, as for 5000 to do it good luck...

ive seen ! iggte and v8 ones but the 1ggte is cheap now days and looks very neat in the hilux bay!remmeber the hilux running gear wasnt designed for big power even tho it has a good diff!

My mates dad put in a motor from a commodore but i dunno how much this would cost he did it pretty cheap as he bought a crashed commodore from an auction and did almost all of the work himself.
I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have spent much more than 5 grand

sideshow, ummm, you really buy 1uz's for $1500?
damn, i have 3... 2 soarer and 1 crown engine. the crown one costed me $1000 (picked it up this morning) and both soarer motors costed $500 each...
i guess you just gotta look around.
btw, ill be needing your services real soon...
so umm, does anyone know what a uza80 is?

UZA80 = JZA80 (Mk4 Supra) with a 1UZ-FE in it I guess, doesn't some factory in Japan race a 'UZA80'? Jun or someone like that if I remember correctly..

im still working on my 6spd conversion and waiting on a few more parts before i can actually start the engine conversion.
