Is it possible to maintain accurate boost control, using factory SW20GT ECU and a ct26 or Pulsar GTi-R turbo charger?

If the factory ECU alone cannot do this reliably, please suggest what i can use in conjunction with it to achieve this goal.

I want to eliminate severe boost spiking, and without purchase of an aftermarket ECU, my target boost is 7-8psi, if this helps.

Cheers,

-Adam

boost control on a gtir turbo (a T28 by the way) will be comtrolled by itself, as it has its own wastegate and wastegate actualtor, set at aroun 8-9 PSI from memory.

very rarely is boost pressure controlled by the ECU.

Thanks for the info mate.

That will help me a fair bit i think.

Will be on the lookout for a t28 then over the next few weeks.
