Well I jsut picked this baby up 2 days ago.
heres what I know about it so far.

Jspec bluetop 4age
lowered on king springs
pretty cool wheels (dont knwo what they are but they are autralian made)
Jspec tail lights
colour coded bumpers (soon to be black)
2 inch straight through exhaust with box ont the end and a inconspicuous black 2 inch tip on the end
really craked dash Laughing
mazda racing bucket seats (quite nice)
dodgy ass crazy clark steering wheel. brand is SAAS or something

It has some rust... about 6 places of it, most surface, some through but its not too bad. It has been lowered with replaced king springs but the shocks havent been changed so it doesn't handle all that well.
the exhaust sounds okay but need to be a bit bigger so im thinking about a 2.25 straight though with a box ont he end and a little bit bigger inconspicuous tip. (no stinkin cannons here)

Plans
Get it roadworthy!!!
Replace front windscreen (cracks)
Get rust taken out
redo bumpers in jet black
get ae86 headlights for it, *has ae82 lights and looks gross
Get a levin grill for it
get nardi/momo wheel for it
new dash
redo the interior wheel arches in the back (all chewed up)
trd style ducktail spoiler
new bonnet (bonnet rusted pretty bad)
T18 diff with 2 way lsd
coilover front suspension or just new shocks and new rear shocks
strut brace in front
wade cams

thats all I can think of for the moment, as I do them I will cross them off and as I think of new ones I will add them

comments are welcome etc

Thanks, I know it really was such a good price... I thought it would be a shitty stocker but when I looked at it I almost had a heart attack.... whats more, I managed to bargain down the price even more.

I know those fullface jap lights make it look a little droopy but im going to keep them untill I have done everything to it, and then im going to find some redlines. the lights aren't too bad, at least its a little different from normal ones.

I would love it if someone who has had rust taken out before could tell me how much it is to take it out... like jsut roundabouts...

Cool

define the low price...tell us some range if you dont want ppl to know the exact amount.. Smile i'm curious..

Being a first time car owner let alone a first time 4age owner, whats the deal with cold starts on these motors... Sometimes if the motors cold it stutters a bit and stops... jsut have to give it about 300rpm of throttle for about 10 seconds or so and then its fine... is this normal?

thanks
Gavin

Normally a 4AGE should idle fine on cold start up. Mine did, but recentely put some cams in and now you have to give it a little bit of a rev on cold start, but after that it runs fine.

Those wheels dont look to bad, black the centres out and they will look awesome Smile

Yeh those wheels appear to have decent offset. Are they 6"?
