well, Paul's crash wasn't really his.... but hey, what are friends for?
I've had 2 crashes in my 2 supras, both at over 100km/hr. Once I ripped a log fence out of the ground (one of those ones with 20cm thick posts holding it in).
On the other, blew a tyre at 110 round a corner, crashed it into a cliff face, wrote it off.
Walked away from both without a cut, scratch, or bruise.
Did I learn? No. Went and bought another supra. Making sure this one's even faster... that oughta sort out the crashing problems

used to own a 1996 prelude.... driving home late one night on marion st in condellpark a cop car flys out of a side street straight into the side of my prelude. Result: a broken arm (had to have metal plates and 6 screws put in), hospital for over a month, 8 stitches on my face just under my bottom lip. and a shitload of cuts and bruises.

convert it too manual you will be quite surprised, i went for a little drive in my mates 5 speed GA70 1GGEU and it wasnt as slow as you would expect...got nothing on the 1GGTE tho sadly, the 2 litre just isnt tourquey enough, ffs the GTE isnt tourquey enough
INDIAN: I do have headrests in my car and A GT-L doesnt necessarily mean a standard body kit as that was an option on every old school jobbie except the MZ21
Hope it helps

If youre gonna throw in a 1GGTE why not a GZE they are a pretty decent motor as well and it would be a little bit different

I.E. my headrests can be moved and tilted, i have electric drivers seat, climate control, electric mirrors, lumbar support, air purifirer which fucken stinks like japan , velour, cruise control...
It has all the basic extras that come standard in the GT-L but no other options like TV/SAT Nav, Body Kit, Torsen LSD, Sunroof, Leather, etc etc...

no you definitely cannot just whack an SC14 onto a 1GGTEU, you will surely cook it within days...
Easier to get a Mark 2 Or Crown F/C cheap as chips, i.e. $1500-$2000 max as they are plentiful and relatively unwanted and get everything you need from there

either of those engines will still make the car a pig
to make it decently fast you will need either a 7m gte, 1jz gte, or if your feeling rich.. the 2jz
