Now that im all engineered i intend to get down to WSID this wednesday to claim my title (>2.8L N/A).
Feel free to come along and cheer me on, or better yet, feel free to not.
I'll be getting there late-ish (6pm), but scrutineering closes at 7pm, so hopefully i can get in.
Look out for a 'multi tone' supra.

I'll come along to watch.
Can you to store some excess weight in my car if you want.
If my brakes & clutch were working better, I'd have a go competing.
PM me your number so we can arrange a time to meet.

I would like to thank everyone who stayed at home and didnt come out to cheer me on.
i saved the best to last at WSID 9.42pm and pulled a 14.680 @ 150.52km/h with a reaction time of .387.
The run was up against a VT SS V8 who pulled a 14.676 @ 153.19km/h. A bees dick in it across the line.
Too much wheelspin in first....but i didnt want to destroy my tyres with boganisms. I would like to think a perfect run is 14.2, but i would require the officals to piss thwe water off the entire width of the staging lane! No need to make excuses now.
Just like to thank Steve (wagonist) for being my support crew. thanks buddy.
Now its Ed turn to prove to me 7m powahz....

1/8th mile
Dubbo = 9.81
WSID = 9.45
Slightly more traction at WSID (and better tyres) ...but still spun all of first gear.

A great time. Although I'd be in a completely different class (2.0L F/I) I'd like to get down to WSID eventually and give my beastie it's first taste of ripping concrete with zero wheelspin. All after I get the ECU fitted and tuned and find out what the bloody hell is wrong with my car's cooling system.
I'd have to run it on stock rims and rubber to get anything like a decent time - my chromies and fat treads just don't do her any favours, even with a turbo.

Anyone know if they allow cars with panel damage to run?
Yes, yes, before you ask, the Caldina is damaged again
Minor compared with last time. Should only cost me bout $600 to fix

i dont think they that strict man. when i went thru that scuiteneer(sp?) thing i thought it be like pinkslip or something all they did was open my enginelid, looked in and said 'theres an overflow bottle, good'. i was like wtf? is that all
while checking out some cars lining up i saw people with dodgey cable tied on things like radiator, intercooler etc....

coolant bottle is a must if ur going out. thats one of the very few things they checked on my ride last time.
RAV-GT4 you better beat my last time of 15.2 when you go out. I'll hopefully be getting about 14.2 next time out, as i'll have my boost problems sorted out, more grip, more power,etc. Yes it will be a few months, i have run into funding problems, anyone want to give me $10k???

When I get the tuning issues sorted out, 15 seconds will be a walk in the park. Hell, a Stock RAV4 with CAI and 2" exhaust can pull 16.7.
Nah I'll be hunting down the 13 second bracket when I get out to WSID. I reckon with my current setup plus proper tuning, it should be very reachable. Grip is no problem for me - AWD has that sorted.
