It sits inside the back of the steering wheel, and runs wires into the steering wheel hub for the airbag.

Is it seperate to the wheel, or intergral? I have an ST205 halfcut that came with and aftermarket Nardi wheel, so not sure if it's there or not?

It might have been ditched, if the aftermarket wheel doesn't have an airbag, or it might still be used to run the horn-wire. hard to say.

It sits behind the steering wheel, partially inside the steering column. The inner-half rotates with the s/wheel, the outer half is attatched to the steering column.
