He was responsible for the fast and furious soundtrack, all the instrumental stuff on there is nothing compared to his albums.

the 2001/12 chill mix is great

also try the 2004/03 mix (this is prolly my fav)

not ALL of the mixes are 100% great (probably 75% are top shelf complete mixes), but theres at least one brilliant bit in each.

Juno Reactor...good to drive too. Most of the songs are pretty long but they flow really nicely...kinda like a mix between tribal & trance

some of you may recognise their work from matrix 3 & other various films that i cant remember atm

Songs:
"ice cube"
"samurai"
"acid moon"
"conga fury"
"labryinth"
"lunatic"
"teleport"

Bexta is also great if you want something a little faster

Songs:
"access"
"decoder"
"the light"
"drum beats"
"do you dance"
"make it phunkee"
"one for the road"

if you want some hardcore stuff download any of the Thunderdome cd's...theres about 14 of em

most of the stuff mentioned is pretty good..you'll have your hands full trying to d/l it all so i wont bother listing anymore

I don't know how into the scene a lot of you guys are, but one of the biggest flaws when looking at Trance and similar genres on the net are you need to get 1 mp3 that has the whole CD, and then divide it up if you really want the tracks to play properly. If you get a tracklist off a CD and try to download all the songs, it will sound shit because it is not going to sound 'mixed'. Smile Get it, got it, good. Best advise - ask your friends what kind of music they are into. I have several hundred good trance/similar CDs and all are properly mixed.

FYI - Listening to Dave Joy - Third Pleasure (Uberdruck remix) atm. Cool

Drillcore. 200bpm. You can't listen to it all, but it sounds good to say it. Reminds me of moby's song 1000 bpm - but slower Razz .

Hard House is possibly some of the worst, least inspired, boring, derivative rubbish to ever fill the dancefloor. And in the potted history of dance music, that's quite an acheivement.

I know im whoring in on a lot of posts today, but its my one day of net use for the next week or so.

If you like a bit of hard trance or NRG go listen to:
Observer vs DJ Spacecase - Strobe (track 9, disk 1 HARD NRG 6)
Tiesto - Traffic (track 15, disk 2 HARD NRG 6)
- The rest of the songs on that album are pretty pox.

You melbourne techno lovers should come to the next Pharmacy... We get bigger headline acts than Future Entertainment (Gods Kitchen, 2 Tribes etc)

cheers

There's too much dance/trance/house out there...

I just liv off ministry of sound compilations, cause they usually have a good mix (on the side of commercial though) and it saves trawling through the net looking for the rest...

This will no-doubt upset the hard-core, underground types.

Tim.

Anyone into Astral Projection? I've got a few songs of theirs off the net, not too shabby.

Also, if you don't mind not being able to understand the lyrics (unless ofcourse you can speak japanese) track down Ayu (Ayumi Hamasaki) Trance. It's got a few of her popular songs remixed by various trance artists, guys like Armin Van Buurin and er... snap.. I forget, but it's good Very Happy
