Im considering a ma70/71 supra... What are the differences between these 2 models, are their anythings that can go wrong on the cars, and what is the handling and straight line speed like compared to say a sr20 non turbo s13 silvia?

thanks

7MGTE are notorious with their blown headgaskets.
But then again, I have yet to get one *touch wood*

7mge/7mgte both suffer head gasket problems. just the nature of ther beast...you loose some, you win some. Hopefully when you buy one, you win..unlike i did..hence my cheap purchase price...but then i spent a *&^#load on my motor to rebuilt it, but now it is perfect..and im considering adding a blower sometime sooon....

they are really nice cars tho, and even nicer with some decent mags and lowered springs Wink

Apart from the head gasket problems, check for rust around the rear hatch. Try this link: http://forums.toymods.org.au/index.php?t=msg&t h=11412&rid=7189&S=c7ff3611ccd056b6664b648 9575ffe76&pl_view=&start=0#msg_91596 that helped me when i was buying mine...

Good luck and take your time. Oh, as for supra or silvia, id take a supra any day!!
