5 stud all round? Sun, 17 October 2004 05:16 Go to next message
Hi all,

Im trying to work out what options i have for brakes (front & back), diff & wheels on my RA28.

Itll be getting a 1GGTE soon, so i was thinking about hilux diff and the hilux/pug front brakes.
But im unsure as to what wheel stud patterns this leaves me with.

I would like to end up with a popular stud pattern on all four wheels so i have a good choice of rims.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Yep, stick in a Hilux diff, then play games with the front hubs to end up with 5x114.3. That's what I did to both of my cars, works well - 15x7 (or whatever size tickles your fancy, really) pre-AU Falcon wheels then fit the gap fairly well. For a budget solution (depends how much of it you can do yourself I guess Very Happy ) you can't go wrong.
