the test and tune adjustments only work if you click on "make run" and use the 100 bucks and 10 credits.

Yeah I'd done that but clicked to another screen without looking at the results, so accepting a challenge gave me the same answer.

I really don't like NOS actually... i'd rather build up a proper turbo, NA or even supercharged engine... NOS is just too tacky.

My personal opinion Smile

Got a couple more
The trick I find is just looking for the shitty companies youve never heard of before generally they will sponsor you and then you just buy heaps of press kits and bombard them, after a while they will stop gicing you extra funds. Log out go back in then do it again, generally after logging in you can get like 5 in a row before they knock your request for extra funds

ahhhhhhh. now its working. ive only done it like 100 at a time before, with minimal results, so i gave up on sponsors, and worked. no wonder everyone was moving up around me, and i was progressing slowly.

That's why you invest in an anti-theft device. Some fcker vandalized my car and stole my Reytec ECU, so now she's got an alarm or some shit.

COROLA lost his car to the evil stealing bastards...

I have upgraded my security on the car and home, but I do not know if it'll be enough to sway the people who are always stealing things?

Kinda sucks, but I guess thats life!

i would imagine that the theiving bastards would only invest their credits into a car that doesnt have an alarm. there is always a few people with out alarms when you veiw their description.

I recenlty had a Rx7 rz with an alarm installed, after the second day of owning it, it got stolen...

Oh and, I saved up money from working 800 credits a day at that time... so took me about a week or so to get enough money for the car, the parts, and the alarm...

I read the forums, and it seems that having car security of 10 will protect you from new players only, and a security of 20 is only good against medium rank players. There's no way to be completely safe. (Except if you're tuning and racing - don't leave your car in sponsorship mode for the evening.)

Any chance I could link up with Toymods or Toymods2? Very Happy

I just bought one too. There are no upgrade options for:

  • NOS
  • FI ECU
  • Intake

There may be more, but my car was just stolen (after owning it for 3 hours), so I cant check. (LVL 10 car security - LVL 6 home security - was promoting at the time.)

Anybody know if the Supra has the same problem?

the peoplt that wrote the game need to check their facts, they cliam that a porsche 944 turbo has a 3.ol 8 cylinder turbo. One the turbo was a 2.5l as they needed to stop exceesive pistons speeds and loads on the engine and second is was a 4 cylinder. tHe normal 944 had a 3l four cylinder

You fumble around like an amature in the attempt to steal this vehicle. You are taking way too much time and begin to draw attention to yourself. Unfortunately, you were caught by the police.
You are fined $500 for your crime. The owner has been notified of the incident.

when you steel, I think it's just random. you put 2 (largish) numbers in, and hope they have something to do with a number randomly renerated by the server.

I've seen numbers like 120:250 (in the 2 boxs) thrown around the forums.

Unless it's a fulsic car, or you have shitty sponsership, you're probably better buying a car. the 400 or so credits you use nicking it could buy you 4 shots of nos Smile

eviljack: I think you get rnr when you get caught by da fuzz.

respect Wink

how many credits did you use?

i just bought an mr2, but you can do fuck all mods to it! no exhaust, ecu, cams, pistons, nos, or stroker kit.

guess ill have to upgrade the turbo heaps.

my rnr went down heaps when i fucked off the golf to get this aswell. went from 22 to about 13.

How do you lot get such a high networth etc? i have a crx ( don't worry i want to hurt me too) networth of $12 G's and it's running 11's... lotsa turbo and nos upgrade but i wouldn't mind having a decent networth.

keyword = sponsors ie for every ten credits when I request funds I get over $800, then when you log on one day cash all 800 in and you have like 50-60K and then you either mod the shit out of the car you have or buy a better one
