wat are they??

They are a cylindrical shaped item that screw into the head and the H/T leads plug onto the top of them. They are very handy for igniting the mixture.

I would start by trying NGK BPR6EY. This is wat I used to use

Hi,

For the 18RG and 18RGR, use..

Denso W20EX
NGK BP-6 EZ

These are straight out of my car manual for the RA25 which uses those two engines (depending upon which model vehicle).

You should be able to go to a sparkplug site (Denso, Champion, NGK or whatever) and see if there are comparison tables so you can try an equivalent from another manfufacturer.
