Head gasket on 1ggte Tue, 26 October 2004 09:36 Go to next message
Should I change the head gasket on my 1ggte while I have it out of the car? I am a bit of a novice as some of you may have gathered from some of my other posts, but just wanted to know if its worth doing now or should i just leave it.

Cheers

Well if theres nothing wrong with it why change it. It's not like eg a oil filter where it has to be changed every 5000 or 10000kms or a timing belt every 100000kms where they hav schedule servicing. If your just doing a conversion just drop the motor in. Also if it was me I'd change the timing belt. Very Happy
