Velocity stacks...
If its a 20 valve its allready got crazy top end... fitting stacks makes the torque and power greater... the downside is the time it takes for this power to come... reason for this is the HUGE amount of air volume... but the air has no SPEED... So you'll find that the power you gain by the lesser restricted airflow only gives you more top end power and torque... I can imagine that they would sound amazing though!!

Unless your running aftermarket computer (or a blacktop) trumpets aren't an option with factory AFM.

You could get totally whack and plumb the trumpets into an airbox, and run a low-restriction intake tract to an AFM.

Factory setup is trumpets in an airbox, I was referring to an open trumpet setup.

yeah i got a silver top 20v, running a haltech computer, just wondering if it'll make much more power becuse i might have to sacrifice bottom end, so if it doenst make much more power then i dont think its worth doing, but that sound is awsome!!!

If your going to run high lift cams with ported high-flow heads and really high compression pistons it is totally worth doing... It would make a huge difference... But with stock internals the power will come on so late that you'll have to be in high revs to use it effectively...

Plumb cold-air from a mid-bonnet scoop, WRX style, silly! That'd make some hektik noise then, especially if it was a rearwards facing scoop!

I hope you're taking the piss with a rearwards facing scope, unless you're wanting to suck air away from the intake.
