hey i own a Ae82 twincam corolla and i replaced the sparkplugs and it was missing when it was running so i replaced to leads and it is still missing. any1 hav any ideas?

Does the engine "miss" all the time? or just under acceleration?
I had this same problem, i replaced leads, dizzy cap, rotor button and then that didn't work.
Next thing i replaced was the coil. and that fixed it..
Other than that, check the wires coming out of the dizzy, that was another problem with mine.

it misses accelerating around 3500 to 4000 rpm. i took it to a mechanin and he said it is either the dizzy, cam or timing belt

Did you use the right spark plugs?
I replaced all the things i said above, oh and the next day after i fixed it missing, i snapped the timing belt...
Smallports are designed to use smaller leads and platinum spark plugs..
Bigport are designed to use thicker leads and normal spark plugs.
See if you can borrow a coil from someone to test it. And it might be a good idea to get a new timing belt if it hasn't already been done.

NGK plugs should be fine, i would check the dizzy cap for cracks, maybe even replace it.
Otherwise do like i said and check the coil.

have u checked the fuel pump
cause now it is burning properly it might not have enough fuel
also check fuel filter
